Global Fireproof Solutions Appoints Paul Schmidt As Vice President of Strategic Development.

Schmidt brings more than three decades of experience in global marketing, brand development, sales leadership, business development, and organizational growth. His career includes leading marketing and brand strategy initiatives for globally recognized companies and brands, including Balboa Brands, Marriott International and Yamaha Motor Corporation, as well as more than 15 years of experience within the construction and building materials industries. This combination of global brand leadership and industry-specific experience gives Schmidt a distinctive perspective on market positioning, customer engagement, sales development, and long-term business growth.
Prior to accepting the full-time leadership position, Schmidt served as a strategic marketing consultant to Global Fireproof Solutions. During that engagement, he led a comprehensive evolution of the company’s brand, messaging, marketing platform, and industry presence. His efforts helped increase market visibility, improve sales support, strengthen customer engagement, and better communicate the breadth of Global’s capabilities to builders, architects, engineers, code officials, distributors, and other construction industry professionals.

A central focus of Schmidt’s role will be connecting Global’s technical expertise and expanding capabilities with the needs of the construction industry. This includes strengthening relationships with existing customers, identifying new market opportunities, supporting the company’s sales organization, and positioning Global as a trusted resource for complex fire protection and code compliance challenges.
