Global Fireproof Solutions Volunteers with FBMA and Roc Solid Foundation to Build Playset for Local Child Battling Cancer.

March 20, 2026 - Groveland, Florida - The team at Global Fireproof Solutions had the privilege of partnering with the Florida Building Material Association and the Roc Solid Foundation to help build a custom backyard playset for Aiden, a young boy courageously battling cancer.

Because of his condition, Aiden is unable to safely enjoy public playgrounds alongside other children. Through the efforts of volunteers from across the building materials and construction industries, a new space was created where he can safely play, explore, and simply enjoy being a kid in the comfort of his own home.

For the Global Fireproof Solutions team, the project represented far more than assembling a structure. It was an opportunity to come together as an industry and make a direct impact on a family facing unimaginable challenges.

“Events like this serve as an important reminder of why community matters,” said Global Fireproof Solutions. “In an industry often focused on schedules, inspections, and project demands, this was a meaningful opportunity to step back and support a family in a tangible and lasting way.”

The build brought together volunteers from multiple organizations and companies throughout the industry, demonstrating the power of collaboration beyond the jobsite. Throughout the day, teams worked side-by-side to construct the playset while also providing encouragement and support to Aiden and his family.

Global Fireproof Solutions remains committed not only to protecting structures and supporting safer building practices, but also to investing in the communities and families those structures ultimately serve.

The company extends its gratitude to the Florida Building Material Association, Roc Solid Foundation, and all volunteers who participated in making the project possible.
