Greater Orlando Builders Association : Homes For Heroes.

Protecting a Home Built for Service.

At Global Fireproof Solutions, we believe the strongest projects are built with purpose. That belief was brought to life through our participation in the Greater Orlando Builders Association Homes for Heroes initiative in partnership with Building Homes for Heroes.

As part of this collaborative community effort, Global Fireproof Solutions joined fellow GOBA members, contractors, suppliers, and industry partners to help restore and protect a mortgage-free home for U.S. Army Veteran Patricia Golden in Eatonville, Florida. The project was launched following extensive damage to the home caused by Hurricane Ian and reflects a united commitment from Central Florida’s building community to provide safe, resilient, and dignified housing for those who have served our country.

Global Fireproof Solutions was proud to provide certified fire-retardant treatment applications throughout the structure, including the roof decking, trusses, and interior and exterior wall assemblies. Working alongside TechWood and other industry partners, our role focused on enhancing the long-term safety, durability, and resilience of the home through advanced fire protection solutions designed to help safeguard the structure for years to come.

The project represented far more than construction. It demonstrated what can happen when an industry comes together in support of a greater mission. Through donated labor, materials, expertise, and time, the Homes for Heroes initiative became a powerful example of community-driven impact and service. One of the most meaningful moments of the build was the “Wall of Honor” ceremony, where contributors signed the interior framing of the home as a symbol of support, gratitude, and shared commitment to the veteran receiving the home.

For Global Fireproof Solutions, participation in this project aligned directly with our mission: protecting people, structures, and communities through advanced fire protection systems. Supporting a veteran and contributing to a home built on security, safety, and hope was an honor for our entire team.

We are grateful to have partnered with the Greater Orlando Builders Association, Building Homes for Heroes, TechWood, and the many contractors and volunteers who made this initiative possible. Together, we helped build more than a home — we helped create peace of mind and a foundation for the future.
